For more than 20 years, DancExcel has opened doors for young people through dance, music, and other creative arts classes. Every class, performance, scholarship, and community program helps young people discover confidence, creativity, leadership, and a sense of belonging.

The Champion Foundation, Inc., the nonprofit organization that supports DancExcel's community impact, works to ensure that every child has access to high-quality arts education regardless of financial circumstances. Through scholarships, educational programming, community partnerships, performances, and special initiatives throughout Gary and Northwest Indiana, the Foundation helps remove barriers and create opportunities for young people to thrive.
